Nestled in the rolling hills of Livermore Valley, Las Positas College is a beautiful, friendly, safe campus consisting of approximately 9,000 students including 131 international students from 35 different countries. We are located 64 kilometers southeast of San Francisco, amid one of California's fastest growing regions for business, science, and technology. We are extremely proud of our dedicated faculty and staff and the high quality education you will receive here at our College. Las Positas College is a public institution accredited by Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Educational institutions such as the University of California and California State University systems, and private colleges and universities give full credit for equivalent courses taken at Las Positas College. Complementing our excellent academic programs are a variety of student support services designed to give you the personal attention needed to help you succeed.
