Important notices: Students enrolled in Spring 2009 online and hybrid courses are welcome to attend on-campus orientations to learn about Online Learning and Blackboard. These orientations, which are NOT course-specific, will be held Jan. 14 from 1-2:30 p.m., Jan. 15 from 7-8:30 p.m., and Jan. 22 from 7-8:30 p.m. All orientations will take place in Room 2420. Welcome to the Online Learning homepage at Las Positas College! For the Spring 2009 semester, we will, once again, use the course management system, Blackboard, for online courses, hybrid courses, and face-to-face courses enhanced with online resources. Students enrolled in these courses will have the opportunity to complete their coursework in one of the top e-learning systems in the world!
We are also debuting our new web portal called The Zone. By logging into The Zone, you will be able to access Blackboard and all of the emails sent to you through Blackboard.

Of course, you can still access Blackboard directly by going to the Blackboard login page. You should bookmark that page (clpccd.blackboard.com) because not only will it ensure quick access, but if this Online Learning site or The Zone goes down, you will still be able to access your Blackboard course(s).
If you are thinking of enrolling in a course that uses Blackboard, or even if you are already enrolled in one, the links to the left will give you the information you need to get started.
